About the Role

DaVita is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team in an outpatient dialysis center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis.
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
  • Education and Support: Educate patients on kidney dialysis-related topics and provide emotional support to help them cope with their condition.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership, to ensure seamless care delivery.
