Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages to guests while adhering to established recipes and standards. Your role includes opening and serving wine and champagne, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and preparing fresh garnishes for drinks. You will also ensure that the bar is stocked with ice, glassware, and other necessary supplies, while efficiently transporting materials to the bar setup area.

In addition, you will wash used glassware, manage soiled items, and communicate replenishment needs proactively. Handling various payment methods and managing cash at the end of your shift, including completing cashier reports and resolving discrepancies, is essential. You will also be responsible for securing all alcoholic beverages and ensuring proper closing procedures are followed.


Adherence to company policies and safety regulations is crucial; you will report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality regarding proprietary information while protecting company assets.

Engage with guests warmly and professionally, anticipating their needs and expressing genuine appreciation for their patronage.

Develop and nurture positive relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals and responding appropriately to the concerns of others.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations, and demonstrate the ability to read and verify information in various formats.

Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and moving items weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as navigating through various environments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification:
None

The compensation for this position ranges from $19.97 per hour, plus gratuities.
