Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Mixologist to elevate our guest experience. The Mixologist is tasked with providing exceptional hospitality through authentic and engaging interactions, ensuring a memorable experience from the moment guests arrive until their departure. This role requires a keen understanding of guest preferences while crafting exquisite beverages promptly. The ideal candidate will possess agility and a friendly demeanor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests as they enter or navigate the bar area.
  • Ensure the bar is properly set up and stocked daily.
  • Guide guests through their beverage selections with detailed menu descriptions.
  • Accurately take orders and confirm any special requests.
  • Master the art of bartending, enhancing guest conversations with expert knowledge.
  • Collaborate effectively with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
  • Address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Conclude the experience with timely and precise bill presentation.
  • Manage the requisitioning and stocking of all beverages.
  • Maintain the quality of fresh ingredients, including fruits and garnishes.
  • Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes while practicing portion control.
  • Process orders through the point of sale system and generate checks for guests.
  • Secure all beverages, food, and equipment, ensuring proper cash handling.
Qualifications

The candidate must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Previous bartending experience is essential.
  • Ability to comprehend verbal English for basic guest requests.
  • Ability to read written English for safety notices and instructions.
  • Capability to lift and transport up to 75 lbs. in a busy environment.
  • Ability to maneuver goods weighing up to 200 lbs. using a hand cart/truck.
  • A combination of education, training, or experience that provides the necessary knowledge and skills; a High School diploma is preferred.
  • All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).
Additional Information: The hotel operates seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. All employees, both management and hourly, must be adaptable to changing business demands.
