Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Modernization Program Specialist to join our team at the Housing Authority Of Co. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the modernization of residential units, working closely with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure timely completion and compliance with contractual requirements.

Salary: $23.34 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain inventory tracking systems to monitor project progress and costs.
  2. Conduct regular site visits to inspect construction quality, identify potential issues, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate with the Modernization Manager to prepare Comprehensive Physical Needs Assessment/Project Cost Estimate.
  4. Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, building codes, and local health and fire standards.
  5. Coordinate changes to contract, materials, and field conditions with architect or engineer.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in building construction, renovations, or related field.
  • Knowledge of housing construction, modernization, and costing principles.
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes, housing standards, and local regulations.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
