Job Description:

Patient Care and Treatment

As a Senior Mental Health Specialist at ProTouch Staffing, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment. This includes:

  • Prescribing, directing, administering, and/or monitoring psychotherapeutic treatments or medications.
  • Gathering and maintaining patient information and records, including social or medical history obtained from patients, relatives, or other professionals.
  • Developing treatment plans according to the needs of patients and consulting with Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) or other healthcare providers.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans and medication administered.

Requirements:

Clinical Experience and Education

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Completion of an approved psychiatric residency program.
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry (BC/BE).
  • A valid medical license to practice in the state of Georgia.
  • DEA certification.
