About the Role

The Alternative Accounting Team Manager will oversee all aspects of accounting operations performed by the team supporting Fidelity's Alternative investment products. This role requires expertise in daily deliverable review and oversight, pivotal initiatives, business performance evaluation, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of associates performing accounting and pricing functions
  • Act as the primary contact for daily operational needs
  • Provide direction, leadership, and support in collaboration with other associates within the business unit
  • Develop and implement operational processes and procedures for new products
  • Monitor and assess the department's control environment; identify potential issues and their impact on internal controls and drive a course of action to mitigate risk
  • Escalate operational incidents to senior management and Risk team; manage resolution process
  • Lead and maintain relationships with business partners and expectations of service levels
Requirements
  • BA/BS preferred in Business, Accounting, or Finance
  • 5+ years of financial services experience
  • Geneva experience recommended
  • Management experience including the ability to lead a staff and build customer relationships in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
