Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Shareholder Reporting team at Fidelity Investments. As a key member of our operations-focused team, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory and product-specific requirements.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our team to prepare financial statements, prospectuses, and other fund and legal documents for our customers and filing them with the SEC. You will also participate in operational efficiencies to scale and automate processes to support our growing line of products with diverse investments and structures. Your ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and business partners will be essential to our success in delivering high-quality financial reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare financial statements and related content for 10-K and 10-Q filings for products structured as BDCs, ETPs or REITs
- Collaborate with the team to recommend changes to systems, processes, responsibilities, reporting, etc.
- Work with data analysis and visualization tools to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain knowledge of US GAAP financial reporting standards for non-registered investment partnerships and product structures

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3+ years of financial services experience with an asset manager, audit firm or custodian bank, preferably in accounting operations or administration for alt investment products
- Strong knowledge of accounting and operational principles for alternative asset classes
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools
