Job Summary

The Waters of Covington is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medication Administration Specialist to join our team. As a Medication Administration Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
  • Monitor residents for signs of medication reactions and report any concerns to the nurse immediately
  • Document all medication administrations in the resident's medical record
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure accurate and timely medication administration
  • Participate in regular audits to ensure compliance with medication administration policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Medication Technician
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
