The position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Claim submission and follow up through Brightree or insurance portals
  • Collecting and posting payments in patient accounts
  • Contacting customers regarding outstanding balances
  • Resolving partial payment or denials from insurance companies
  • Taking customer orders, answering claims questions, and performing other accounts receivable duties

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated initiative
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Technical skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel
  • 2 years of medical billing experience preferred
  • Experience with BrightTree preferred
  • Experience with insurance
