Role Description

The Operations Supervisor at Select Water Solutions will oversee the daily functions of the disposal operations, ensuring that ongoing and expansion projects are carried out within budget while fulfilling customer expectations and adhering to environmental health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a robust safety culture across the regional service line.
  • Manage profit and loss, balance sheets, and annual budget for the service line within the region.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with regional administrative teams to guarantee timely and accurate information flow regarding customer, vendor, and employee transactions.
  • Support regional sales initiatives with relevant information.
  • Coordinate with Disposal Management to ensure facilities meet current and future operational needs.
  • Build and maintain direct relationships with clients at the regional level.
  • Communicate the company's strategies and objectives to regional service line personnel to ensure alignment.
  • Provide weekly comprehensive reports to Disposal Management on ongoing and future operations and financial performance.
  • Work collaboratively with Service Line VPs to maximize market penetration and profitability across all service lines in the region.
  • Oversee personnel planning and development for the service line.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are required:

  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting capabilities for both computer and mechanical/electrical issues.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
  • Familiarity with common software applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and eligibility to operate a company vehicle.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions.
  • Self-awareness and initiative are essential.
  • Understanding of principles for communicating expectations to management and clients.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements

  • Majority of work is performed in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
