Your Role:
The Patient Care Advocate serves as a representative of our organization, engaging daily with patients, families, healthcare providers, and staff.

It is essential to maintain a professional demeanor, exuding credibility and positivity while interacting with patients and visitors.

This role involves addressing the concerns of patients and families with sensitivity and empathy, contributing to a positive community image.


Your Contributions:
- Conduct daily rounds to assess patient satisfaction needs.
- Act as a problem-solver to ensure that patient and guest inquiries are effectively addressed, facilitating communication with the appropriate personnel.
- Provide immediate service recovery as needed, reporting these instances to management and collaborating with Risk Management as necessary.
- Document rounding information daily and communicate findings to the management team promptly.
- Engage in rounding and service recovery within the Emergency Department as required.
- Identify and recommend improvements to enhance the patient and family experience, aiming to prevent negative impacts on care.

Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in a clinical environment or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Additional education in healthcare administration, marketing, or communications is preferred, or equivalent customer service experience is desirable.
