Position Summary:

We are seeking a diligent cleaning professional for a large industrial facility. The role involves traversing the premises to collect waste, sweeping and mopping floors, and occasionally performing floor waxing and restroom sanitation. Candidates must provide proof of OSHA 10 certification or higher within 60 days of hire. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts required. Please note that this position does not include night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform tasks such as sweeping, waste disposal, and cleaning.
  • Complete assigned duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Adapt to various weather conditions while working.
  • Engage in physically demanding activities for 8 or more hours daily.
  • Climb ladders and perform bending, twisting, and lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Contribute to a safe work environment by participating in safety training and identifying potential hazards.
  • Arrive on time and prepared to fulfill work responsibilities.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and seek clarification when necessary.
  • Show respect for colleagues, management, and clients.
  • Care for company-owned or rented equipment and return it in good condition.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in methods used to complete tasks.
  • Exhibit a willingness to support team efforts and learn new skills.
  • Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to consistently perform essential job functions while maintaining alertness and safety.
  • Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Climb ladders repetitively as required.
  • Engage in physically demanding work for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
  • Complete tasks related to loading, unloading, cleaning, shoveling, and painting.
  • Safely execute duties associated with confined space work.
