Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare prep items according to Golden Corral product specifications and recipes.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain a standard inventory of prep items according to the Prep Production Guide and the Display Cooking Prep Production Guide and update the guides as directed by management.
  • Yield Optimization: Ensure optimum yield of products through the product cycle.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Label, date, and rotate all bulk produce and prepped items. Ensure all food items are in approved, covered storage containers.
  • Buffet Maintenance: Assist the Buffet Attendant in maintaining a full, clean buffet.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness: Clean, maintain, and organize prep area including cooler(s), equipment, and dry storage.
  • Guest Service: Perform administrative tasks and help guests during meal periods.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
