Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our industrial plant facilities. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 5am-1:30pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transition throughout the facility to gather trash, sweep/mop floors, and occasionally wax floors and clean bathrooms.
  • Provide proof of completed OSHA 10, or higher, within 60 days of original hire date.
  • Work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks for 8+ hours a day.
  • Climb ladders, bend, twist, lift up to 50lbs, and perform prolonged standing and walking.
  • Promote a safe workplace by participating in safety training, identifying job hazards, and wearing correct PPE.
  • Follow directions of manager/lead/superintendent and clarify responsibilities as needed.
  • Respect self, co-workers, managers, company, other contractors, and clients.
  • Take care of company-owned or rented equipment and return it in like manner.
  • Adapt to methods used to complete tasks and be willing to go the extra mile for the team.
  • Communicate effectively both written and verbal.

Physical Abilities:

  • Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Must be able to climb ladders repetitively.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day, including prolonged standing and walking, bending, and twisting.
