Key Responsibilities- Design and develop engineering solutions to meet customer requirements, including design calculations, layouts, specifications, and parts lists.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible, efficient, and meet customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
- Ensure all designs and related engineering information are properly documented and maintained using CAD/CAE or Microsoft Office Platform software.
- Associate degree in an engineering field from an Accreditation Board for ABET-accredited engineering program.
- 8+ years of technical experience in design engineering, with a focus on mechanical systems and aerospace materials.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass customer security requirements.
- Advanced working knowledge of CAD/CAE or Microsoft Office Platform software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
