Position Overview

The Lead Financial Strategist role is a multifaceted position within the finance department, acting as a pivotal resource for various sectors including Global Commercial, Technology, and General & Administrative divisions. This role involves the creation of management reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), data modeling, and forecasting to facilitate the growth of business units.

The Lead Financial Strategist will engage with stakeholders across the organization to enhance value through thorough analysis and optimization of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in the integration of systems and processes during company acquisitions.
  • Act as the primary contact for financial software solutions, addressing administrative, configuration, maintenance, and optimization challenges.
  • Develop, monitor, and enhance essential financial reports and metrics, while communicating opportunities for process improvements to financial and executive leadership.
  • Deliver both ad hoc and routine reporting and analysis on operational and financial metrics to support informed business decisions.
  • Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes through preparation and variance analysis.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of standardized reporting processes, controls, and business analyses across various divisions.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and actively participate in their implementation.
  • Continuously expand personal knowledge of products, services, and industry needs globally.
  • Travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field with strong analytical capabilities.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, demonstrating key analytical skills.
  • Experience in financial modeling and/or Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Advanced technical and analytical skills, particularly in Excel, with experience in building or utilizing Macros and Power BI being advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across various groups, including local finance teams and banking partners.
  • Capability to establish and maintain new business practices focused on data consolidation and analysis.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, utilizing data and analysis to address complex business challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic private equity environment, where change is constant and driving EBITDA growth is essential.
  • Experience in a multinational organization is a plus.
  • Strong financial acumen, particularly in global services businesses.
