About the Role:
Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Oncology Unit team. As a Nurse Oncology Unit Specialist, you will provide direct nursing care to cancer patients, implement and monitor patient care plans, and educate patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to cancer patients, including administering medications and treatments, and monitoring patients' conditions.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, and educate patients and their families on post-discharge care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience, or military RN experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
