MICA Corporation is seeking skilled laborers with experience in electrical, traffic signal, and utility labor for highway construction projects.

We are currently expanding our team to support two major projects in the Austin area, focusing on infrastructure development and enhancement.

Your Role:

  • You will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems, traffic signals, and utility lines associated with highway construction.
  • This includes tasks such as digging trenches, laying pipes, pulling wire, and connecting illumination poles, ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) components, and roadway signs.

Qualifications:

  • Must be local to the Austin area or surrounding regions.
  • Possess a valid Texas driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant electrical construction experience, with conduit experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating basic construction equipment, and heavy equipment experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ground boxes and electrical systems.
  • Ability to pass a physical examination and drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and nights as needed.
