Heavy Highway Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Highway Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of heavy highway construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the review of shop drawings, submittals, and subcontract change orders.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop the project management plan, including the project scope management plan, procurement plan, environmental plan, time management plan, financial plan, quality management plan, and risk management process.
- Conduct weekly coordination meetings with project teams and subcontractors and prepare daily field status reports.
- Coordinate the documentation of constructability issues, potential design conflicts, and clarifications with the appropriate personnel.
- Develop and manage the construction plan for the successful execution of the work performed.
- Ensure work is executed according to contract terms and conditions in a profitable manner.
- Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience required.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, and methods), negotiations, engineering, cost control, scheduling, and safety.
- Must have construction project and supervision experience in similar types of facilities.
