Business Development Representative

We are a dynamic business consulting and sales firm in New Haven, dedicated to delivering innovative marketing strategies and exceptional sales results. As an Account Manager Trainee, you will play a vital role in helping our clients build strong relationships with their prospects, acquire new accounts, increase annual sales revenue, and expand their market reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations to leading business prospects, fostering long-lasting customer relationships.
- Educate potential buyers about our client's products, promotions, and services, driving informed purchasing decisions.
- Assist clients in acquiring new accounts and managing expanding markets, leveraging your knowledge of our client's marketing campaigns and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with Senior Account Managers to develop comprehensive understanding of our client's sales goals, ensuring seamless execution.
- Negotiate sale contracts with clients, identifying areas for upselling products and services that benefit both parties.
- Stay up-to-date on our client's sales progress through regular conference calls and on-site training workshops.
- Work closely with fellow Account Manager Trainees, Sales Associates, and Marketing Representatives to ensure client needs are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
- 0-3 years of experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar leadership role.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to develop leadership qualities, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with reliability and adaptability in both independent and team settings.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
