Rheumatologist Position at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health

PAGNY is seeking a part-time Rheumatologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. As a Rheumatologist at PAGNY, you will provide high-quality patient care, teach and mentor medicine residents, and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
Responsibilities:
Provide care for patients with rheumatology-related medical conditions directly via outpatient clinics
Provide rheumatology consults for the inpatient service
Manage administrative duties, including EMR documentation, timely billing for reimbursement, analysis of quality data and reports, attending meetings and serving on various committees as needed
Teach and mentor medicine residents, fellows, and junior members of the medical team
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Medical School or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited university
Board-certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine
Active or NYS Medical License
Active, unrestricted DEA license
Cultural sensitivity to a diverse patient population required
Previous experience working with an under-served patient population preferred
