About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Systems Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Technology Strategies: Outline upgrade and replacement strategies for technology areas, driving business growth and efficiency.
  • Manage Cross-Functional Relationships: Foster strong relationships between Business Technology and other departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Execute Process Control Solutions: Design, configure, integrate, implement, and troubleshoot process control solutions, automation systems, laboratory, and manufacturing systems.
  • Manage Implementation Projects: Lead projects from start to finish, adhering to established project management methodologies, budgets, and timelines.
  • Provide BTS Support: Offer comprehensive support to the Abbvie Waco manufacturing facility, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing and lab applications.
  • Manage Change Control Process: Oversee the BTS Change Control process for all infrastructure and software changes, ensuring compliance and minimizing disruptions.
  • Assist User Training: Provide training and support to users on manufacturing and lab applications, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
  • Execute Design and Configuration: Design, configure, integrate, implement, and troubleshoot POMS and OPSI Pi systems, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Write and Maintain SOPs: Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions, ensuring compliance and consistency across the organization.
Required Skills
  • Active Directory: Proficiency in Active Directory management and administration.
  • SaaS Experience: Familiarity with SaaS solutions, including Splunk, PRTG, and Acronis Cyber Backup.
  • IT in FDA Regulated Environment: Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment, with a strong understanding of IT system development and lifecycle management.
  • Server and Client Management: Expertise in server and client management, including database management and manufacturing application support.
  • OSI PI Database Knowledge: Proficiency in OSI PI database management and POMS knowledge.
  • Track and Track Knowledge: Familiarity with Track and Track systems.
