Diesel Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Transdev. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure our fleet is safe and reliable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair complex diesel engine issues, including brakes, engine tune-ups, and transmission clutches.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Ensure all work orders are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance work completed, including parts and supplies used.
Requirements:
  • Valid CDL B driver's license with Air Brake and Passenger Endorsements.
  • 3+ years of verifiable professional diesel repair experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • ASE certifications are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
