Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanic Needed
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanic to join our team at Adecco US, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our diesel truck fleet.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience working on heavy duty diesel trucks, with a focus on trash pickup trucks, roll off containers, and flatbeds. You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting inspections and performing routine maintenance, and repairing and replacing brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems.
We offer a competitive salary range of $25-$33 per hour, paid weekly, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses. Our benefits package includes 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in trucks and heavy equipment
- Conduct inspections and perform routine maintenance (PMs) and repairs on diesel trucks
- Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test and repair vehicles
- Maintain detailed records of services and repairs
- Ensure all work complies with safety and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years experience with heavy duty diesel trucks
- Primarily working on trash pickup trucks, roll off container flatbeds, etc.
- Diesel experience needed
- Own your own tools
- Have reliable transportation to get to and from the shop(s)
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Skilled with tools and diagnostic equipment
- Welding knowledge/experience is a huge plus (and would get extra $) but not required
