AS A LEAD CLOUD SOFTWARE ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Implementing and optimizing our cloud observability infrastructure.
  • Establishing best practices for measuring system performance and collaborating with various teams to ensure their adoption.
  • Working closely with Application Engineering teams to guarantee that our applications generate the appropriate metrics.
  • Gathering, consolidating, and visualizing metrics to deliver actionable insights.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS:
  • Over 8 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and programming skills.
  • A strong grasp of computer science fundamentals and a proven history of developing highly reliable software.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams to gather, consolidate, and visualize insights from complex technical products.
PREFERABLE ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE INCLUDES:
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure service providers or extensive private cloud environments.
  • Experience with large-scale installations or High Performance Computing (HPC).
  • Familiarity with time-series monitoring and observability systems.
  • Experience with high-performance networking.
  • Some roles may require access to export-controlled technologies or technical data.
