Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality radiographic procedures, including diagnostic and fluoroscopic imaging, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, adhering to established safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines.
  • Process and label images, verify exam accuracy, and enter patient and study information into the radiology information system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to regulatory requirements and departmental policies.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in radiology information systems.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders frequently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for majority of the day.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist, lift up to 20 lbs. over the head, and carry up to 40 lbs. a reasonable distance.
  • Must be able to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
