Financial Leadership Professional for Nonprofit Organization

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Leadership Professional to join our team at Scion Staffing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for directing the accounting department, managing financial records, and overseeing budgeting and reporting processes.
About the Role- Direct the accounting department and manage financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Oversight of month-end financial closings and reconciliations to ensure accurate decision-making.
- Prepare financial reports, including monthly statements, budget performance reviews, and key performance indicators.
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors during the annual audit.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax filing requirements.
- Collaborate with departments to create budgets and financial forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and balances.
- A master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred, with CPA certification also being preferred.
- At least 2-4 years of experience with MIP Accounting software is required.
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector, with prior leadership roles is desired.
The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000-$135,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
