Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in healthcare information technology, specifically in managing clinical and business systems across diverse environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of clinical operations, including ambulatory and inpatient settings, as well as proficiency in implementing and supporting Epic and ancillary clinical applications.
Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Oversee the strategic direction, operating plans, financial management, talent management, application lifecycle, and portfolio management for assigned enterprise applications.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with key clinical and operational leaders to facilitate the use of clinical applications and supporting technologies, aligning them with organizational priorities and initiatives.
- Project Management: Translate strategy into achievable project and operating work plans, ensuring successful implementation and integration of new applications.
- User Support: Provide professional support to the adult oncology and research communities, addressing operational and clinical process improvements through application selection, development, acquisition, implementation, and resource utilization.
- Integration and Communication: Foster effective working relationships between IT teams and other areas of the organization, ensuring user needs and expectations are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare information technology, with at least 7 years of direct management experience.
- Advanced understanding of clinical operations, including ambulatory and inpatient settings.
- Demonstrated experience in best practices and leading complex application solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in standard business software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project (or Smartsheet).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Epic Certification.
- PMP Certification.
- Oncology leadership experience.
The annual base salary range for this position is from $178,007 to $296,628, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance health, well-being, and financial security. Benefits include medical/vision, dental, flexible spending accounts, life, disability, retirement, family life support, employee assistance program, onsite health clinic, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation (12-22 days per year), paid sick leave (12-25 days per year), paid holidays (13 days per year), paid parental leave (up to 4 weeks), and partially paid sabbatical leave (up to 6 months).
