The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction, while also maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and safety.
- Staff Development: Identify training needs and provide opportunities for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Communication: Foster open and effective communication among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Compliance: Ensure that all nursing staff are aware of and comply with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited program in Nursing.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-year Long Term Care RN supervision experience, strong leadership and excellent clinical skills required.
- Licensure and Certification: Current, unencumbered RN license in NY state. Current CPR and IV certifications.
