Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse I to join our Acute Care team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Assess, plan, deliver, coordinate, integrate, and evaluate nursing care related to patient needs
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary teamwork to support patients
  • Complete the requirements of the Nurse Residency program and apply for advancement to RN II within 12-15 months
  • Collect, analyze, and record patient health data accurately
  • Identify patient problems and develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement and record interventions to attain expected outcomes
  • Evaluate patient progress and adjust plans as needed
  • Adhere to approved practice standards and direct patient care provided by LPNs and support personnel
  • Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
  • 2-year Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • New graduate or less than one year of experience as a Registered Nurse
  • NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse or valid interim permit
  • BLS certification within 6 months
