Job Opportunity: Clinical Adjunct Instructor

SUNY Delhi is seeking qualified candidates for part-time Clinical Adjunct Instructor positions in the School of Nursing. The successful candidate will provide clinical instruction and evaluation of pre-licensure nursing students, develop and manage course syllabi, and collaborate with colleagues in course curriculum.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Instruction and evaluation of pre-licensure nursing students
  • Developing and managing course syllabi while adhering to department and college standards
  • Collaborating with colleagues in course curriculum
  • Delivering learning-centered instruction to undergraduate students
  • Assisting in the growth and success of a diverse population of students through careful preparation of course materials, effective teaching methodologies, and informed critical feedback on assignments and discussions
  • Developing and adapting curriculum incorporating current technologies into the clinical learning environment
  • Implementing school/campus academic and attendance policies
  • Pursuing knowledge of innovations and changes within the subject area and field of practice
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations
Requirements:
  • MSN or enrolled in MSN Program
  • Unencumbered NYS RN License
  • 3 years clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior teaching experience
  • Prior teaching at the collegiate level
