Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements, operational concepts, and high-level system architectures to create comprehensive system requirements specifications.
  • Lead design and development activities while ensuring alignment with system requirements.
  • Assist users in articulating their needs, offering alternative solutions, and conducting feasibility assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance for integrating requirements, design, and technology, ensuring seamless incorporation of new plans and systems into ongoing operations.
  • Generate and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture and design specifications.
  • Facilitate system development and implementation planning through the preparation of engineering management plans and integration/test plans.
  • Engage with government representatives regarding technical considerations and resolve associated challenges.
  • Maintain ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of deliverables within the Systems Engineering domain.
  • Communicate effectively with program personnel, government stakeholders, and senior management.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in Directory Services, particularly Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and AD Lightweight Directory Services (AD LDS), with relevant Microsoft certifications.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting authentication issues, including Kerberos and NTLM.
  • In-depth knowledge of classification tools such as Titus by Fortra.
  • High proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
  • Expertise in File Service Security and Microsoft’s Dynamic Access Control (DAC).
  • Experience with cloud-based print solutions like PaperCut.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Update Services.
  • Proficient in using debugging tools such as SysInternals and Wireshark.
  • Expertise in deploying and maintaining Thales CT Hardware Security Modules and Microsoft Windows Certificate Authority (PKI) servers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange and Endpoint Management (System Center) Suite.
  • Understanding of enterprise management tools for Active Directory.
  • Knowledge of Attributes Based Access Control (ABAC) systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting.
  • Moderate experience with F5 Load Balancers and writing iRules.
  • Experience with schema modifications in MS AD and LDS.
  • Ability to implement compliance settings and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Experience with Linux RedHat and CentOS is advantageous.
  • Nutanix experience is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Appropriate Polygraph.
  • At least twenty (20) years of experience in systems engineering within similar programs and contracts.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) additional years of Systems Engineering experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree, totaling twenty-five (25) years of experience.
  • Compliance with DoD 8570; Security + CE certification is required.
