Job Overview

The Finance Manager will be responsible for evaluating client purchasing patterns, vendor offers, market share statistics, freight expenses, and comprehensive supply and equipment costs, among other financial data as required. This position will lead a team of financial analysts dedicated to one or more sourcing categories and will report directly to the Director of Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of financial analysts
  • Establish processes and methodologies for financial analysis concerning contract initiatives
  • Create costing models for sourcing-related financial assessments and support contract personnel in strategy formulation
  • Engage in strategic supplier discussions as necessary
  • Contribute to sourcing strategy meetings
  • Ensure adherence to financial components of the sourcing process to evaluate value and risks associated with sourcing objectives
  • Communicate analysis findings effectively to finance and contract management
  • Develop executive-level presentation materials and financial summaries
  • Review and enhance financial analysis policies and procedures for accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide necessary financial resource support to contracting personnel
  • Generate complex ad hoc financial and statistical reports as requested by leadership
  • Prepare and/or review intricate financial analyses
  • Recruit, train, and mentor financial staff
  • Assist with rebate and administrative fee forecasts, collections, and reporting
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Offer constructive feedback and support analysts in performance improvement
  • Embrace feedback and strive for personal and team performance enhancement
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven ability to lead a team of finance professionals

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in finance management
