## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia team at MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc. in a picturesque rural setting close to Pittsburgh, PA.
## Job Description
As a CRNA, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients across a variety of surgical specialties. You will administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
## Responsibilities
* Administer anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout surgical procedures.
* Assess patient health history, perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
* Monitor patients during anesthesia administration, adjusting dosage and technique as necessary to maintain optimal anesthesia depth and vital signs.
* Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
* Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay abreast of advancements in anesthesia practice.
## Qualifications
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the state of practice.
* Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program with certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
* Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CRNA preferred.
* Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
