Position Overview

If you are seeking a role within a healthcare environment, HHS is looking for dedicated Environmental Services Technicians for both full-time and part-time positions.

Shifts available include Day, Evening, and Night options.

Successful candidates must pass a background check, E-verify, and drug screening.

Housekeeper Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of cleanliness in designated areas to ensure a hygienic working environment.
  • Report to the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director for scheduling.
  • Execute daily cleaning tasks as per HHS training guidelines in assigned locations.
  • Document completed work on the Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Inspect assigned areas at the start of each shift.
  • Respond to housekeeping requests promptly.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the department leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
  • Must be able to manage various cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Familiarity with handling chemicals safely (e.g., bleach, wax, Virex).
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours as required.
  • Effective communication skills in English.

Floor Technician Responsibilities

  • Maintain a superior level of cleanliness in assigned areas.
  • Report to the Environmental Services Director for scheduling.
  • Perform daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting tasks according to HHS training standards.
  • Document completed work on the Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Respond to housekeeping requests as needed.
  • Conduct floor stripping and extraction projects.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by department leadership.
