Job Overview

If you are seeking a position within a healthcare environment, HHS is looking for dedicated Environmental Services Technicians, including Housekeepers and Floor Maintenance Specialists. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Shifts available include Day, Evening, and Night schedules.

Housekeeper Responsibilities

The primary objective is to deliver exceptional cleaning standards in designated areas to uphold a pristine working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director for work scheduling.
  • Executing daily cleaning tasks as per HHS training protocols in assigned locations.
  • Documenting completed work on the Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Inspecting assigned areas at the start of each shift.
  • Responding promptly to housekeeping requests.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the department Director.

Floor Technician Responsibilities

The aim is to maintain superior cleaning quality in designated areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Environmental Services Director for work scheduling.
  • Performing daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting tasks according to HHS training guidelines.
  • Documenting completed work on the Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Responding to housekeeping requests.
  • Conducting floor stripping and extraction projects.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the department Director.

Job Requirements

Candidates must meet the following physical requirements:

  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift.
  • Ability to lift furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Capable of pushing and pulling carts or equipment on various floor types.
  • Must be able to handle and interact with all cleaning chemicals safely.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours as required.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
