We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technician II to join our team at HCA Florida Englewood Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
- Demonstrate responsibility and accountability in recognizing and identifying potential and actual patient problems, collecting accurate data, and participating in the patient's care in accordance with departmental standards.
- Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
- Assist in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
- Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Cardiovascular Technology and/or RCIS Certification and/or ARRT IR.
- Two years of experience in a licensed field and one year of cardiac cath lab experience.
- LPN with one year of experience and Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
- Cardiovascular Technologist (CV Tech), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Radiographer (ARRT), Registered Nurse, or Emergency Medical Technician.
