Position Overview

If you are seeking a role within a healthcare environment, HHS is currently looking for dedicated Environmental Services Technicians for both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Shifts available include Day, Evening, and Night options.

Housekeeper Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of cleanliness in designated areas to uphold a sanitary working environment.
  • Report to the Environmental Services Director and Assistant Director for scheduling.
  • Execute daily cleaning tasks as per HHS training guidelines in assigned locations.
  • Document completed work on the Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Inspect assigned areas at the start of each shift.
  • Respond to housekeeping requests promptly.
  • Carry out additional duties as directed by the department Director.

Housekeeper Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to move furniture and equipment as needed.
  • Skilled in maneuvering a maid cart, linen cart, or various equipment on both tile and carpeted surfaces.
  • Must be comfortable handling all cleaning chemicals (e.g., bleach, wax, Virex).
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and other hours as required.
  • Effective communication skills in English.

Floor Technician Responsibilities

  • Maintain a superior level of cleanliness in assigned areas.
  • Report to the Environmental Services Director for scheduling.
  • Perform daily cleaning, buffing, and bonneting tasks as per HHS training protocols.
  • Document completed work on the Area Assignment Checklist.
  • Respond to housekeeping requests promptly.
  • Conduct floor stripping and extraction projects.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by the department Director.

Floor Technician Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently.
  • Capable of standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout the shift.
  • Ability to move furniture and equipment as needed.
