Position Summary
The role involves overseeing the daily operations of an urgent care facility. This includes managing all non-physician staff members, ensuring high standards of patient care, maintaining the clinic's infrastructure and supplies, and ensuring accurate billing for services rendered. This position collaborates closely with a franchised business entity, and specific responsibilities and benefits may differ across franchises.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership to the clinic team.
- Assume a hybrid role, capable of stepping into various positions within the clinic as needed.
- Handle phone inquiries, triage patients, and possess knowledge of insurance reimbursement processes.
- Recruit, onboard, and train staff for various roles including front office receptionists, medical assistants, and radiology technicians.
- Supervise and conduct performance evaluations for non-provider personnel.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure that medical services are delivered according to physician directives and maintain high-quality care standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Lead and facilitate staff meetings, daily briefings, and training programs.
- Address patient and staff concerns while continuously monitoring patient satisfaction through various feedback mechanisms.
- Oversee adherence to front office protocols and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring adequate supplies of medical and cleaning materials.
- Track key performance indicators and implement strategies for ongoing improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least two years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and consultative communication skills.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards.
