Position Summary

The role involves overseeing the daily operations of an urgent care facility. This includes managing all non-physician staff members, ensuring high standards of patient care, maintaining the clinic's infrastructure and supplies, and ensuring accurate billing for services rendered. This position collaborates closely with a franchised business entity, and specific responsibilities and benefits may differ across franchises.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership to the clinic team.
  • Assume a hybrid role, capable of stepping into various positions within the clinic as needed.
  • Handle phone inquiries, triage patients, and possess knowledge of insurance reimbursement processes.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train staff for various roles including front office receptionists, medical assistants, and radiology technicians.
  • Supervise and conduct performance evaluations for non-provider personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to ensure that medical services are delivered according to physician directives and maintain high-quality care standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Lead and facilitate staff meetings, daily briefings, and training programs.
  • Address patient and staff concerns while continuously monitoring patient satisfaction through various feedback mechanisms.
  • Oversee adherence to front office protocols and accuracy in financial transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring adequate supplies of medical and cleaning materials.
  • Track key performance indicators and implement strategies for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and consultative communication skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards.
