About the Role:
The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the leadership team at Bodycote, reporting directly to the General Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance functions of our plant, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all general maintenance duties, including painting, cleaning, fixture/tooling fabrication, and equipment installation.
- Oversee the maintenance of plant equipment, including preventative maintenance and new equipment installation.
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols within the department and among employees.
- Supervise and direct maintenance department employees, including performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder to satisfy ITAR compliance requirements.
- Education: College or technical degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred; high school or equivalent plus 5 years industrial maintenance experience required.
- Advanced training in electrical experience is essential.
- Proficiency in welding, cutting, brazing, and working knowledge of electricity is necessary.
- General knowledge of hydraulics and furnaces, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints, is required.
- May be required to work overtime, any shift, including weekends, and be on call as needed.
