As a Senior Insights and Research Specialist, you will collaborate with marketing partners and various business units to establish a comprehensive learning agenda and identify critical strategic insight requirements.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring that business teams grasp and appreciate the voice of the customer and other essential stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify key business inquiries to be addressed
  • Define the appropriate research audience
  • Secure research samples as necessary
  • Select suitable vendors from our approved research partners
  • Collaborate with vendors to determine optimal research methodologies
  • Obtain necessary approvals and align on research instruments, including legal and compliance aspects
  • Oversee vendor management throughout the research process
  • Work alongside the vendor to analyze data and produce an initial report, ensuring the delivery of a final report that focuses on actionable insights for the business
  • Present findings to all relevant stakeholders
  • Assist fellow researchers on larger, more intricate projects as needed
  • Manage budgets and track research operations as assigned
Utilize Your Expertise to Make a Difference

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Market Research, Data Analytics, Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing research encompassing both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
  • Experience within the healthcare and/or health insurance sectors
  • Familiarity with diverse research methodologies
  • Strong project management capabilities with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Ability to transform data into compelling narratives through insights and data visualization
  • Excellent presentation skills with experience in conveying complex strategies to senior management
  • A genuine passion for contributing to an organization dedicated to enhancing consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or other advanced qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare provider research
  • Familiarity with CMS STARs requirements, ratings, and metrics

Additional Information:

To ensure effective remote work capabilities, employees working from home or in a hybrid model must have internet service that meets the following criteria: a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended. A wired cable or DSL connection is preferred.

Humana will equip remote employees with the necessary telephone equipment to fulfill their job requirements.

Work from a designated area free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.

Compensation: The salary range provided reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications.
