Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians with patient care and medical treatments, including patient triage, laboratory sample acquisition and processing, and accurate documentation of patient vitals and treatments.
- Recognize and respond to potentially contagious and zoonotic diseases, following appropriate isolation and safety protocols.
- Educate and train clients on appropriate home care and provide effective communication to convey complex medical information.
- Perform or assist with radiographs, anesthetic procedures, and other medical tasks as needed.
- Knowledge of veterinary practices, procedures, and terminology, including disease states, common symptoms, and basic treatment protocols.
- Ability to accurately calculate mathematical equations for drug doses, CRIs, and other position-related calculations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- RVT License required.
