Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency and Critical Care team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, collaborating with our veterinarians, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.
Responsibilities- Triage and manage patients throughout their visit, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Partner with veterinarians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, utilizing your expertise in laboratory procedures, imaging, and anesthesia.
- Process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fine needle aspirates, to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Utilize various imaging modalities to assess patient conditions and inform treatment decisions.
- Assist with sedation and anesthetic events, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Support surgical procedures, including minor and non-specialty surgeries.
- Monitor and care for hospitalized patients, communicating effectively with veterinarians and other team members.
- Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital setting is required, with ECC experience preferred.
- RVT, VTS, or VACSP certification is preferred but not required.
- Comprehensive understanding of anesthetic monitoring and laboratory procedures is essential.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
