Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at CHI St. Anthony Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for administering safe and competent respiratory care to patients in various settings, including emergency, critical care, and neonatal/pediatric units.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer respiratory therapy modalities, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
  • Monitor patients' respiratory status and adjust therapy as needed.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as arterial blood gas punctures and lung volume measurements.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
  • Participate in department meetings and in-services to stay current on best practices and new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a four-year AMA-approved School for Respiratory Care.
  • Passing score on the NBRC entry-level examination.
  • Current Oregon RCP license in good standing.
  • Current AHA BLS certification.
  • Current AHA PALS, ACLS, and NRP within three months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Neonate experience.
Pay Range:

$40.17/hour.
