Position Overview:

This position requires collaboration with Merchandising Category Managers and additional support teams to achieve targeted business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy Development:
    Work alongside pricing and merchandising leadership to identify and establish financial objectives, competitive benchmarks, and necessary pricing logic.
  • Ongoing Price Management:
    Oversee, assess, and propose price adjustments for designated categories.
    Ensure the accuracy of foundational pricing data elements.
    Analyze the effectiveness of pricing methodologies and regulations, suggesting improvements to meet financial and competitive targets.
    Conduct ad-hoc pricing analyses and offer recommendations as required.
  • Category Analytics:
    Relay pricing trends and supporting analytics to pricing, merchandising, and leadership teams.
    Develop relevant analytical tools, reports, and dashboards that integrate pricing data with consumer, customer, and competitor insights.
  • Additional Duties:
    Perform other responsibilities as assigned or necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytical Business Specialty, or equivalent retail experience preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail, analysis, and/or pricing is preferred.
  • Proficient in a variety of analytical, quantitative, and statistical techniques and tools to extract insights from extensive, complex data environments.
  • Advanced skills in Excel are required.
  • Experience with third-party pricing software is a plus (e.g., PriceStrat, Revionics, DemandTec, ClearDemand).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong teamwork, collaboration, and influencing abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • A strong work ethic complemented by a positive, proactive attitude.
