Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sales Associate - Fashion Retail to join our team at Chico's FAS, Inc. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding retail experiences. You will work closely with our management team to achieve sales goals, maintain store standards, and provide personalized service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, responding to their needs, and making product recommendations.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques, product knowledge, and upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including current sales and promotions, to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Ensure visual standards are met, including merchandise presentation, pricing, and display.
  • Participate in visual directives, such as monthly store sets and zone maintenance, to create an attractive and cohesive store environment.
  • Model and promote the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards to ensure a seamless omni-channel experience.
  • Promote products and services to customers through effective communication and demonstration of product knowledge.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including handling returns, exchanges, and other customer requests.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Retail or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regular attendance and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

  • Constant walking/standing (67-100% of 8-hour shift).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $19.50 to $24.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and location.
