Medical Office Assistant - Dermatology

We are looking for a skilled Medical Office Assistant to join our team at Platinum Dermatology Partners.

In this role, you will provide administrative support to our medical staff, ensuring that patients receive excellent care from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience working in a medical office setting, with prior dermatology experience a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of patient information into the electronic health record.
  • Prepare patients for examinations by escorting them to the exam room and obtaining vital signs.
  • Assist the physician/provider during procedures, taking detailed notes and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and communicate with patients regarding test results.
  • Perform daily cleaning and organization tasks to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred but not required.
  • Medical Assistant training is necessary.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a medical office setting as a medical assistant.
  • Prior dermatology experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong phone etiquette.
  • Collaborative teamwork and professional demeanor.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually.

Workplace Requirements:
