Job Summary:

This position provides administrative support to multiple attorneys and paralegals for corporate clients, focusing on creating, editing, and revising legal documents, correspondence, and presentations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating, editing, and revising legal documents, correspondence, and presentations.
  • Maintaining physical and electronic files, including preparing, copying, scanning, filing, and labeling documents.
  • Entering, proofreading, and revising time entries into the firm's accounting system.
  • Maintaining attorney appointment schedules and calendars, coordinating meetings, phone calls, and business travel arrangements.
  • Preparing and organizing closing binders for corporate transactions.
  • Managing client billing, preparing, finalizing, and sending out bills, and resolving billing issues.
  • Performing other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years legal assistant experience.
  • Associate degree in legal studies or related field required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively and efficiently.
  • Proficient typist and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
