About the Role:

New Balance is seeking a skilled Senior Corporate Applications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our corporate systems development team, you will play a pivotal role in aligning technology solutions with business objectives. Your expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and technologies will be essential in creating, building, and supporting global applications that drive business growth and strengthen brand equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of analysts, developers, and engineers involved in the design and development of corporate systems.
  • Manage medium to large-size projects with high complexity, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
  • Lead discussions with business and IT management to define business requirements for new business needs.
  • Establish best practices, standards, and methodologies for software development within the domain.

Requirements for Success:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8 years) in technical leadership roles, having experience in leading and assembling teams with a focus on software design and development.
  • Strong expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and technologies related to web-based applications and databases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
