Responsibilities & Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an integral member of the interdisciplinary patient care team.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and perform care tasks as assigned by licensed nursing staff within the Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.
- Maintain proficiency in the skills and knowledge required for delegated responsibilities.
- Support departmental operational needs and undertake additional duties as necessary.
- Report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of Kettering Health Nursing Assistant orientation.
- Current certification in CPR/BLS.
- One of the following:
- At least six months of experience as a nursing assistant in a healthcare setting.
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program within the last six months.
- Enrollment in a nursing program or pre-nursing status as indicated on academic transcripts.
- Current employment with Kettering Health.
