Responsibilities & Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an integral member of the interdisciplinary patient care team.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities and perform care tasks as assigned by licensed nursing staff within the Ohio Board of Nursing guidelines.
  • Maintain proficiency in the skills and knowledge required for delegated responsibilities.
  • Support departmental operational needs and undertake additional duties as necessary.
  • Report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of Kettering Health Nursing Assistant orientation.
  • Current certification in CPR/BLS.
  • One of the following:
    • At least six months of experience as a nursing assistant in a healthcare setting.
    • Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program within the last six months.
    • Enrollment in a nursing program or pre-nursing status as indicated on academic transcripts.
    • Current employment with Kettering Health.
